View this post on Instagram The first Full Moon of 2020, the Wolf Moon is here! According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, the January Full Moon was dubbed the ‘Wolf’ Moon by Native Americans because it occurred at a time of year when wolves would be howling with hunger. The bright full moon light can also produce rainbows at night which are sometimes caused by the refraction of light through ice particles in high altitude clouds. They are called lunar rainbow or 'moonbow'. The uniqueness of 2020 is there are 13 full moons including two full moons in the month of October i.e. Harvest moon and the Blue moon.
